The BYD Seal 06 GT is built on the brand’s e-Platform 3.0 Evo, its length, width, and height are 4630/1880/1490 mm, respectively, and the wheelbase is 2820 mm. Depending on the trims, the curb weight is 1850 kg, 1940 kg, or 2060 kg. The minimum turning radius is 5.6 m. From the side, the popular suspended roof design and hidden door handles are not absent. The RWD runs on 225/50 R18 as the standard while the AWD runs on 235/45 R19 tires and red brake calipers.
In terms of safety, the BYD Seal 06 GT comes with BYD’s DiPilot 5 intelligent driving assistance system realized via 6 or 12 ultrasonic radars, five millimeter-wave radars, four panoramic cameras, and one smart driving camera, depending on the trims. 16 driving assistance capabilities are available including forward collision warning, blind spot monitoring, side distance warning, and parking assistance, to name a few.
Both RWD and AWD are offered. The top speed is 200 km/h. Four driving modes are supported: eco, sport, normal, and snow. Only the AWD comes with BYD’s iTAC (intelligent torque adaptation control) system.
The interior is powered by BYD’s DiLink 100 smart cockpit, featuring a 12.8-inch (entry-level trim only) or 15.6-inch rotatable central control screen, a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument panel, a 12-inch W-HUD, and 8 or 12 speakers.
Other configurations include a 1.57 m2 panoramic sunroof, OTA updates, ambient lights, an intelligent electric tailgate, 50W wireless phone charging, voice control, and seat electric adjustments.
